Anyone here from India?

Post by easysid »

Hi, I live in Noida, India. Can anyone please help me in finding origami paper in Delhi (or NCR)? Where can I find tissue paper, Kraft, Lokta etc here? Origami-shop.com is somewhat expensive option. So kindly tell of any shops or stores that you know of in Delhi.
Thanx.

If you do visit that shop, go to the top floor and check the last shelf.
These are costly paper( rs 60) but they fold really well without any preparation
others can also be used if stuck to foil, or wetfolded

Yes, I had figured out the kite paper thing and I did find art tissue paper in some stores and it seemed fine.

I have one more question though. Where/How do I get MC? :?:

Biggest problem in india. I couldnt find it anywhere :(
Since it is better know as wall paper glue maybe you could ask around.
Maybe in staples GIP? I have never gone there but maybe they have it?
Also if you can you should join the origami society at japan foundation.

I don't suppose staples will have it. I couldn't even find decent paper there. But that was more than a year ago. I'll ask around, once I get the time. I have my exams in October. Once they are over, I have a trip to Chawri Bazaar lined up to buy some paper and a lot of other things. Thanx for the Origami Society info. I'll look into that.
