SO, basically im going to LA tomorrow and i was wondering if there's anything to do with origami yet Yea, just nothing specific, just want to see or maybe buy paper (if there is, that is ) if there isn't, that's o.k.

Your destination should be little Tokyo. There should be a better selection of papers and books than anywhere else outside Japan.
