You mean the creasepattern cut at a diagonal, right?
the other half is just the first half mirrored over the -X=Y line.

Ah, and Welcome to the forum!! :D

how do you fold something from cp? I can only fold from diagrams. Do you plan to release diagrams anytime soon?

here is a good link about crease patterns

http://www.creasepattern.com/

They can be hard to fold, but its easier to make them, which means that more creators will make them, which means that we will have more models to fold, which is a very good thing.

this is a big coincidence, seeing as i just spent about a week making the chuka ryu v1. it looks awesome, but was pretty backbreaking..

pictures later if i can pilfer some batteries for my camera, and if it dries okay (im wetshaping it)

so, i finally finished kiminha's "chuka ryu" (chinese dragon). i am pretty pleased with the result, it took quite a bit of wetshaping and final resizing of the paper to get here..

i have to congratulate kiminha on the design, it's really a wonderful model (especially the head, even if the 3D diagram bit was a bit cryptic :))

by the way, it's 4 squares and one long piece.

You know, with enough altering, that model could probably become a Ryujin like KAMIYA Satohsi's...
