Has anyone seen Little Miss Sunshine. My new favourite film by a long shot! My old one was Schindler's List. Beautiful cinematography. LOL I love that word!

my love list (probably out of line here)

1. Ichi The Killer (best insane movie ever)
2. V for Vendetta
3. Le Fabuleux Destin D'Amelie Poulin (can watch it over and over and over again).
4. Das Boot (not the directors cut, it's sucks. The full version is much better and realistic. Best war movie ever made)
5. Bye bye Bluebird (road movie from the farouk islands, quite alternative).
6. Equilibrium

my hate list:

1. Titanic (don't like those love themes on big disasters things)
2. LOTR (don't know what's all that hassle was about, I fell asleep while watching)
3. All Harry Potter stuff (it's just so hyped and the story line is not so swell)

I quite enjoyed Little Miss Sunshine ... who could have guessed the girl's routine?! I'll be sure to check out some of the movies mentioned in this thread, there are some which I have been meaning to watch for a while now.

Hmn.

It's a tough choice between "The Twelve Monkeys", "Waking Life" and "Bladerunner".

I also love the LOTR trilogy, despite i hate over all things HP (well perhaps not over all things, i hate the most santa claus)
I love Dragonheart 1 (yes, yes, perhaps its not such a good movie, but i really like it, and it has best dragon ive ever seen in the movies history) I hate the 2
I like Independence day, Star Wars, Ray, transformers, x men (2), the island, tenkai hen of saint seiya, many disney movies...

I didn't really like this movie. It has such a depressing prevailing mood.

I am affraid, that this film has the same feature as every modern movie from the USA, so I have no ambition to see it. Last international film, which I saw and I like it was Goya's ghosts, what is, actually, not USA film, but Czech.

My son change my orientation, so now "Mole in the city" is my favorite movie. It is animated film with most popular character in the Czech republic from approx. 1974 and it has big big idea, depth, "message" about civilization, which is supertemporal.

to continue nitpicking, I have to add that "I am legend" is the fourth movie from that book. first was "last man on earth (1964)", second "the omega man (1971)", third was "I am omega (2007) and now the pimped special effects hollywood version :)

I am legend is brilliant the effects are stunning and isn't it supposed to be depressing thats kind of the point you know last man on earth

However at the end it would have been cleverer to have got in the coal shoot then throw the grenade not commit suicide

P.S i hope no one likes eragon :x
