Other Art Forms

Hey guys. I know a lot of you who are into origami, aren't just artists of paper. I know a few draw, several photograph, and others do other awesome things.

My point for making this topic, is so that everyone who is into a different type of artwork, can post and share it here! It would be really cool to observe the other talents of our many great users here, so if you are into a different art, or you made a type of art (photography, drawing, painting, pushpin art, crayon art, spoon art, art in general) feel free to post it!

Hope this catches on and I'm looking forward to seeing some great works!

Cheers,
Ben

Great topic, Ben! I like art very much and when I'm sometimes tired of Origami, I go to www.dragoart.com and draw for a while! for example, there is a drawing picture of Kid Goku from Dragon Ball Z in my photostream!

I'll post the link in a while.

I started woodcarving a couple of months ago. You may have noticed them since I used some of my works as background for my origami pictures.

Ansi art is drawing using pixels?

ANSI art is drawing using the ANSI character set.

Much like ASCII art, except with a few added characters. Most notably, the blocks.

Those are the characters. I am not sure if that excludes anything.

But it's text art. Not pixel art.

Just one thing, I'd rather you use my username rather than my real name. Thanks.

I did some papercrafting a while ago, but stopped it because I hated the feeling of having glue on your fingers.

Nice to see that this is kinda catching on :) And great art so far guys! I looked at all the pictures and links. I'm impressed! Keep posting! Any type of art is allowed. Personally, I do spray paint art which is form of street art/speed painting. I have only just gotten started, but if any of you live in NYC, or have ever seen street spray artists, I'm aspiring to be one of those ;) I just need a ton of practice... I'm also trying to get into airbrushing..

I like drawing cartoon penguins. I can't really say why except that I was bored one evening and decided to work out how penguins would ride a bicycle, then started setting them to other tasks like cleaning windows and capturing dragons... I know my drawing skills are not great, but they're just for fun :-) I have some on my flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/115727694 ... 290650573/

The sun is shining again, so could do some woodcarving. Just finished this one over the weekend.
