So, it's the timeless question. Are you a mac?
or a PC
I LOVE MAC

I rather have a PC, it's cheaper to purchase and software is more available then Mac. Also, games are rarely released in a Mac version. I used a Mac a few times but never got fond of it.

PC is the best!

Actually, I bought a Mac, because I wanted to try out Final Cut Express for my video editing. And I haven't regretted the decision. I still work on both Mac OS and Linux, and prefer working on Linux in some aspects, but Mac OS does pretty well. And my video editing is now much less painful than before.

Right now I'm working on Windows XP.
Been waiting to buy a laptop. MacBook Pro 15" and Dell Studio XPS 16 are the best choices for my needs (graphic design & web developing).
But I'm leaning towards Mac, since it has great applications.
So it's probably gonna be Mac for working, PC for gaming and other mischievous activities

The problem is Apple's 2010 macbook hardware update seems unclear and all these speculations are driving me crazy.. Just do it already!!

I think your question is a bit silly. Both Macs and other computers are Personal Computers. Id est, Macs use the same hardware as regular PCs. The only difference is that OSX is specifically made for a single type of hardware, rather than for everything out there. You could, for instance, install OSX on any computer, just as you could install Windows on a Mac.

Anyway, I still very strongly prefer regular PCs. I can upgrade them at very little cost. I get a lot more value for my money: One can build a computer many times faster than a Mac for less money. Furthermore, I find OSX terribly unintuitive, though that is partly due to the fact that I'm used to Windows. And finally, most of the software ( 3DS Max 2010, for example ) I use is compatible with Windows, but doesn't work on Macs.

I chose my vote as a pc, but on the note that I use a pc more because the computers at school art department are macs and im usually on my computer and its pretty easy. Though, the macs I would prefer if I was to become a professional artist, as its excellent for graphic design and having many windows open at a single moment, so you could have adobe flash and photoshop open along with illistrator open all at the same time.

I went with the option "PC," simply because do we really need Mac? Everything that you can do on a mac can be done on any other computer pretty much... "Macs can't get viruses..." Sure they can, and with a bit of anti-virus software, any PC can prevent them. Games on Mac? Not happening. Macs just don't seem worth it....

Both! Have a homebuilt PC running windows 7 and an old macbook.

I use the PC for games and that's pretty much it. That could change, though. Valve Software(the guys who did Half-life, Team Fortress 2, and a bunch of other awesome stuff) are releasing all their games onto mac, and will continue to do so in the future.

pc for gaming, mac for everything else

I have a pc but since my recent "computer failer" a mac would be more reliable.
