Asked by a dragon fan to fold something for his first wedding anniversary (paper), the choice was obvious

...a pair of Darkness Dragon IIs, designed by Tadashi Mori and folded by me from a pair of MC prepared Unryushi tissue paper, framed in a shadowbox from IKEA into a heart-ish dance

Image

quite happy with the result
I fold therefore I am.

Interesting idea, if my brother is going to marry I know what to make him as a present now.

Cool design! Looks more like a harvestman, to be honest.

Original variation of Menakshi Mukerji's model: 30 Unit Assembly of our Good Old Fortune Tellers (cootie catchers), which in turn is a variation of Rhododendron, created by Yoshihide Momotani.

After much experimentation and a couple of attempts, I have had a go at Eric Joisel's Pangolin

I learnt a lot from the fold, ended up making 2 of them and could probably come back and do it properly if I was mad enough to try for a third.

I folded a better Attack of the Kracken during my school holidays. :) This is with much thinner paper than my last one, harder to get it to hold it's shape, but no thick tentacles :D .
