Re: What have you folded lately?
Crane
I designed this about 2 weeks ago but didn't upload a picture...
The only bird I have designed was my peacock and that was like half a year ago so I felt like it was time to design another bird. Folded by me from a 45cm square of paper and it has a wingspan of 30cm. Its boxpleated on a grid of 48 however the wings use transition units and go into 96.
I am very happy with the way this worked out, especially the wings! hope you like it

Kareshi, for a first fold that certainly looks impossibly clean! That's great!

A refold of an old design of mine... this is the only design of mine that I have folded twice. Folded from a 25cm square of tissue foil. Boxpleated on a grid of 52. I wasn't sure how well this would work out but it exceeded all expectations. Cp is here: www.flickr.com/photos/langko/7655034510/in/photostream/
Hope you like it

Re: What have you folded lately?
Metamorphosis
Not my greatest design ever but i still wanted to show my efforts...
Folded from 1 uncut 50cm square of tissue foil. Boxpleated on a grid of 48. This is supposed to represent the 3stages in a butterflies life. Caterpillar (right), Cocoon (middle), Butterfly (left). This is something quite different to what you normally see done so I hope you like it!
