Knob Box by Jorge Jaramillo

I folded it to keep the Stilettos that I had folded earlier. Thanks to Anna for a wonderful tutorial. =D>

I still can't figure out the collapse step, but as the boxes turn out alright, I must be doing it right :P

I can see the wings and the claws, but the rest, I cand understand/recognize. I don't think that this is a good photo.
Maybe it's just me.
Probably is a bad photo.. lol
It was hard for me to find good angles of this design, so I understand where you're coming from. The lower jaw is aligned with the wing behind, which makes the mouth difficult to see.

It's a really weird creature, though. Hopefully these images will clear them up. I know the crest isn't long enough, but I had design limitations...

I think this photo is better.

I see it now. I like that the folds are nice and clean.
It would be interesting to see a color change though in the beak and crest area. :D
Good job!

I don't really like the foil and I saw that you use it a lot for your folds and some look messy, but would look nicer in a different paper. Only my opinion. I can see that you worked hard.

Yeah I know! Large tissue-papers are not available in my country so I use baking paper instead but that makes it very messy. :( I will try to buy them online

Baking paper it's not that bad, if used alone.
I think that you should first visit your local paper/craft/art shops or anything related to paper and you might find something good. Good luck!

Hey guys,
I looked for an origami forum and I found this. Just great, what you do there. I'm not so good in paperfolding like you, I just do this since december 2012. But I really like it, this is an amazing hobby.
Nevertheless I want to show you some of my origami.
