My latest design! I used a 95 cm square of tissue foil. The whole thing is one piece of paper including the cross. Boxpleated on a grid of 64.
The wings are white on the back as well. This is probably the hardest thing I have ever folded, took me around 7 hours. Unless there is a really good reason, I will never fold it again. I hope you like it :DImage

Dragon, my latest design.
Designed and folded for a friend who asked me if I could fold her a dragon for her birthday. I used a 50cm square of tissue foil. I am trying to learn other methods of designing so this is not boxpleated. Hope you like it :D

Hercules Beetle 2.0
Designed by me. Well I didn't like the old version, which you can see here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/langko/7189331893/
So I made a major upgrade to the design... Changes include the addtition of antennae, rounder body, more detailed legs, more detailed horns and much better preportions. I kept the grid the same...48. Folded from a 45cm square of tissue foil. Hope you like it :D

Flying Odontolabis Lacordairei
Designed by me. My first design of 2013!!
My friend Justin Nachsin said I should design a flying insect sometime so here one is. My first flying insect design :D
I am extremely happy with the way this turned out, especially the colour change. Folded from a 45cm square of tissue foil. Box pleated on a grid of 48. I was surprised i could fit everything on a 48 grid but it seemed to work out all right. I think I am the first person to design a flying version of this insect. I hope you guys like it :D

Deer
Designed and folded by me in late December but I only upload picture now. So this was my last design is 2012!
Folded from a 50cm square of paper, box pleated on a grid of 60. This model required a lot of shaping. especially on the body. I probably spent the same amount of time on shaping as I did on collapsing. I am very happy with the way this come out. This model was extremely hard to photograph due to the antlers... Hope you like :D

If it isn't boxpleated, which technique is it make from?
Maybe circle packing...
Anyway, it's really nice. You should subscribe it to the Zaragoza contest.
