Sword in the Stone 2.0. I've adjusted the design to fix the proportions - bigger stone, narrower sword.

Re: What have you designed lately?
I designed my first mantis shrimp. It was hard to take a good picture though
For some reason the antennae look fatter than they actually are. Also getting the correct proportions was hard because at this size and grid you need to be better than me at flap proportioning
I was however able to get a lot of detail on the tail including several little spikes (not very visible in this picture).

Hopefully I will design an improved version soon

^ Definitely not bad for a first attempt. I'd suggest studying their anatomy to get a better idea of what you (might not) want to include. (Of course I went for the whole nine yards, so to speak. xD)

Is it possible to give it a long tail to get an Aardvark? The head and body would already be perfect.

Re: What have you designed lately?
I could also see it being modified into a tapir if you gave it color changes. (:

Re: What have you designed lately?
Tapir could work. Or maybe you could just do a crimp on the snout too create a separation between the eyebrows and the snout. Just google a picture of a pig and try how you can work on the face some more. The body is already spot on.

Re: What have you designed lately?
Thanks for the tips! I think both tapir and aardvark can work. I'll try to work on it
