Well, considering it usually takes the form of "do better in school", "stop being so lazy", "be nice"/"talk to people", "fold better", etc. Most of the time it is.

Just to show that you can fold a clean complex from copy paper if you take care:

Image

Samurai Helmet Beetle vs. Stag Beetle by Hojyo Takashi from an 8.5 inch square of copy paper.

It was not easy, and it took a few hours, but here it is.

Nice fold!
How did you keep it so clean? Did you wear gloves? ;)

Even if I wash my hands before folding, towards the end of the fold, I would notice some mild staining on the creases of the model.

Thanks eric_son!

I wash the origami, not my hands... :)

Just kidding. It's a relatively cool day here in Santa Barbara, so I didn't work up much of a sweat while folding. This doesn't seem like a very likely thing to happen in the Philippines though... :)

Actually, I just took a lot of care while folding. Almost as much as when I use expensive paper and MC-fold.

And I photoshopped the stains out. (NOT!!)*

*This is a joke. I swear I used no image manipulation software.

Yep, it's currently summer here and it's darn hot and humid. Today the weather is overcast but it simply refuses to rain, thus making the weather even more hot and humid.

There's a benefit in that though. Folding in this kind of weather ensures a steady supply of sweat which kinda acts like a mild form of wet folding. Hehehe...
