I'm too lazy to fold complex models for 45 minutes, so I made a 5 minute Yoda, Dark Vador and a Stormtrooper. :-)

What do you think of them?

Origami Beedrills. Left one made using 28gsm kraft paper. Right one made using Tissue foil. Still need to work out how to fold and shape the thorax.

Rough attempt with the Beedrill Crease pattern. Body section still needs working out.

I recently completed a pretty large upgrade on my mantis shrimp in terms of complexity and accuracy! Folded form a 50 cm square of hanji paper. I'd guess it should be done in a few edits :D.

On an A3 sheet, I managed to wrangle both the drama symbols of Comedy and Tragedy - folds only, no cuts, no glue - quite happy with it, may diagram it sometime

Fractal diamond updated

It isn't particularly complex and isn't much to look at when folded up, but at the limit this pattern forms a diamond touching the plane at a point. It can also be tessellated.

I have designed a really small dutch windmill as a gift. I started with a square of 15 cm gold foil. As you can see the finished model is only 8 cm high. I am really pleased with the result on this scale! I hope the receiver will be happy as well ;)
