Are you sure, that the two of them aren´t the same but once in sleeping mode and once in attacking mode?

Yeah, the one I posted is Abra, which evolves into Kadabra and then Alakazam (what Cupcake posted). Don't ask me how I remember all this stuff from like, the 4th grade
! Still, I think the model may not be a Pokemon but rather some sort of Japanese mythological creature. Any one have knowledge of Japanese mythology and could offer suggestions on what exactly this thing is?

I already suggested Alakazam in a previous post, but I just edited an older post because I didn't really care about that subject anymore. I'm almost positive that model was not a Pokemon, and if it is, it's hardly recognizable
.
I would just call the model an imp. Done.

Speaking of Pokemon, I folded a Charmander, Charizard, Caterpie, Muk, and Victreebell last night. The Charmander and Charizard's diagrams were found on a cool Japanese site, and the Caterpie, Muk, and Victreebell were from a Japanese children's origami book (they were some of the few things with no cutting, though the Victreebell uses two sheets and needs to be glued
). Unfortunately, I can't take pictures because they're at a friend's house and she doesn't have a computer that works.

I finally found some methyl cellulose to experiment with.
First experiment, single ply 12 inch MC treated mulberry tissue, kawasaki rose:

It was a bit thin and the last steps did not secure it very well.
Second effort, 2 back coated sheets 12 inch MC treated mulberry tissue, kawasaki rose:

This felt better than the one ply attempt.
Finally, I back coated two sheets of mulberry tissue with MC to make a LaFosse's Ruby Throated Hummingbird:
