Boxpleated on a grid of 48. Folded from a 45cm square of tissue paper. Hope you like!
And yes, it does have 6 legs, you just cant see the middle 2 from this angle ;)

Hercules Beetle 2.0 CP

The structure is still the same but this one adds more detail and has a better shape.

Flight Of The Grasshopper
Designed and folded by me.
This is obviously inspired by Brian Chan's amazing one. I am a big fan of his one and instead of working out the cps for his I decided to design my own.
The walking one is boxpleated on a grid of 40 and uses a 40cm square of tissue foil.
The perched one is boxpleated on a grid of 40 and uses a 40cm square of tissue foil. The perched one Cp is the same as the walking one but with a minor modification on the back legs.
The flying one is boxpleated on a grid of 52 and uses a 50cm square of tissue foil.
Overall I am extremely happy with the way this turned out.

Wow! I like the color change of the grasshoppers wings. :)
I want to fold one of your models. Is your pillbug easy? The CP looks very simple. :?
Have you noticed a thing Langko. All of your posts in this topic have smileys in them.(except for a few) :D :lol: :lol: haha!
