Was trying to copy Meenakshi Mukerji - Sonobe Variation 3 and gave up...then about 10 minutes later fiddling with a sonobe I created it accidentally on my own. The next one's are: Mark Leonard's soccer ball, truncated cube, and a honey comb pattern icosahedron.
This one I failed on, but I still like it. It's a graphic pattern (mountian with a sunset) that's on 3 sides of the icosahedron face (like a panoramic picture)...I call it Sunset Mountian.
I offer a challenge. A photoshop challenge...See if you can make more Mountians than me...I've made 11. I think you can map the patterns on certain faces to make more alternating mountians. I'll email people that are interested the sqaure prints for this. Pm me
Never had a real good reason to open a gallery, but I'll share a few more for now. My latest one I call Eraser Ring (meant to look like an eraser wrapping around the graph paper). I created the variation stripe and pattern. The other 2 are a camel and a star.
3 inch scrap paper 90 unit dodecahedron (also included a photo of my 2nd dodecahedron...same 3 inch squares). Laser eye pattern I made for a Columbus Cube and an elephant.
Late October now (will release the Whirly in early November to the public ) The big problem with protoypes is working out the bugs. The paisley vinyl wrap was creating tornado's when I was carving up the canyon's They're mini tornadoes now and people seem to like the new beach front property better than total death and destruction. Starting price will be $100 each
