Sheep by Hideo Komatsu (diagrams in latest Tanteidan issue)

And once again Hideo Komatsu amazes me, with his ability to find folding sequences that just happen by themselves. This model is a my first attempt and even though I've only used a 15cm square of standard Kami and didn't really care that much about exact folding, the result still turned out very nicely

So long and keep folding ^_^

Quentin, your panther looks almost the same as mine. (though I called mine a cougar). I'm guessing identical crease patterns. Yours has whiskers though, a nice touch, and better teeth. If you curve the back in a little, it will make it look more prowling-like. Looks great!

Here's the one I made back in 2003. It was crushed a few times before this picture was taken, but I actually kind of like the wrinkles, except on the tail and hind leg.

Thanx origamimasterjared. yours look very good. I think mine looks a bit forced. it might be the same base as as yours. My base is pleated to add the 5 toes and then the whiskers. I designed one without the pleats, and that one and yours is quite similar. Mark leonard has a very nice one on his website.
I want to change mine a bit so that the whiskers don't come from the top of the muzzle, but I dont want to refold it!! Maybe one day.

Narwhal

Designed and folded October, 2007. Wet-folded from an 8.5 inch square of thick paper. I believe it's 10-11 inches long.
I wasn't able to fold this in time for the horns challenge last month.
It's the first time I've done wet-folding since I can remember. I'm not a fan of wet-folding. But the paper was too thick/stiff to make a straight crease dry. Good thing I was back home at my parents' house instead of my apartment, and actually had the materials.
It is closed-back, and uses entirely clean folds. The shaping of the body was done with a closed-sink and a couple mountain folds.
It really looks a lot better in person than this pretty bad (yet best I got) photo.
