Finallly! After getting through all those steps, I finally made Kamiya's Ancient Dragon! Do you think the wings are kinda small?

Kamiya's Phoenix 3.5 was easier than I thought! But I have a loooong way to go before I will ever meet up to his level.
Though I think Arthur's Phoenix is still waaay better than mine:

I did my best to make this appear to resemble Joisel's Birth...
My best just isn't good enough...
Touched it up and thought it would be better named "Melting"

It looks pretty awesome, really. Love the idea and it was executed very well, imo.rdrutel wrote:http://www.random-equation.net/node/271

Thanks, and I understand. However, once I got far into the model, I realized it would not turn out like Joisel's and I thought this might be a nicer look and "Melting" might be more appropriate. I also thought about having another dwarf coming out of the paper and "two-handed" pulling the other out, but this unsimplified it too much. I'd also like to blame the 2D pic and lighting for any "ugliness."Jonnycakes wrote:I think you did a pretty darn good job with it-the structure looks like Joisel's, but if you could condense the pleats coming from the arm and the leg it would be a more accurate replica.rdrutel wrote:Melting?

Nice Icarus! If he had two wings, it would look better, but I guess having only one wing displays Icarus and his wings slowly falling apart has he falls down from the sky..perrosaurio wrote:amazing figure the dancers... finally I get the diagram...
