In TheRealChris's comparison, the unicorn looks fine, although the edited unicorn's neck is shorter.

But what's this with horses and bigfoot and uni-winged nessies?
Did I start this? o.0

Annyways, I folded this yesterday...

It's form the edge of a square, so I hope I can use it in a model.

Christmas present for girlfriend...
Kawasaki Rose v2 w/ Kawasaki Sepal Base & Rose Leaves (2 standard, 2 variation)

I bought her a gold necklace and enclosed it within the rose (you know, that little compartment thing inside it formed by closing up the bottom). It's all on a length of green plant wire.

I'm also off and on working on a Winter Rose model. It has a pale blue blossom that looks more rigid instead of soft, with pale, pastel green for the sepal base, leaves, and thorns. I had to create a very simple model for the thorns. One sheet of blue and one sheet of green will yield the blossom, sepal base, two leaves, and six thorns. I'm designing it to actually look like it's very, very cold.

I'm also trying to figure out Esseltine's Flying Dragon (stuck on step 46 for a month, been taking an extended break from it to clear my head).

I also just finished folding the classic lily about ten minutes ago for the first time. Flowers are my favorite. And speaking of flowers, I'm also folding the Azalea, but I'm stuck there on step...16, I think.
Ugh! I have too many open-ended projects. I need to just pick one and finish it!
...and I've been putting together a shadow box project to create a garden scene. Pieces include a flower pot, four tulips (inside pot, leaves woven together, very nice), a hummingbird, and a butterfly.
I've also been messing around with random tesselations. I've recently stumbled across an eight point star design that I think has a lot of potential.
I could post all of the pictures for these things, but do you really want me to? Probably not. I'm not up to the caliber of the majority of you who frequent these boards.
Everyone's a voyeurist, they're watching me watch them watch me right now.

Hi, for the dragon in flight we have a topic featuring the steps you're having problems with. I even made a video there: viewtopic.php?t=838

On this Forum you can find a lot of existing help files just use the "Search-function" to find them.

That is nonsense. You should not shy away from posting pics just because you don't think you are as good as others. That is the kind of thinking that will never get you to the level you want to be at.

More importantly, the origami community is an accepting one, and anyone, regardless of skill level, is just as welcome. If you are excited about what you are folding, then you should post pictures if you want to. I for one am always glad to see what other people are working on.

I agree about posting. Don't overestimate our collective folding ability. some of us .......... are more talk than post :-) . However, if you have lots of pix, please set up a link (to flickr or otherwise) that we can visit. We really do like to see folds. And please... continue to post a few pictures of your work to this group. I like to see them.

Don't worry about the great folders, they tend to be mostly a humble lot. Even Robert Lang has commented that he is impressed about how Brian Chan can fold some Lang models... better than Lang !

BTW, I won't be posting my picture of my pet real unicorn (with or without wings... ). It seems that my ftp client requires a bit of time and attention that I don't have resources to devote to this month. .... Even tho a joke without the punch line (or photo) is really more talk than post :-)

I found the time...

See my topic Origami Horses for a better description of the idea behind the horses.

Very nice-the color changes are great and the proportions of the body are very good. The horn may be a little over the top, though...I like the stylization of it, but perhaps you could spiral the horn to make it shorter? I love it, it looks awesome, but the horn is the one thing that doesn't look quite right.

Finally got my first origami book : Works of Kamiya Satoshi! Best birthday present ever.
I decided to fold the Splash! and the Chocobo. Didn't manage to take a picture of the Splash!, and it didn't look too good, because I had to use some really bad giftpaper, but here's a pic of the Chocobo.

Used a sheet of 30x30cm, but unfortunately it was really thick paper, so I couldn't fold some of the details of this model and I had to change some of the steps in the diagram. Still, I don't think it looks to bad for a first try. Well, except for the feet. They look horrible

@Quentin:
That unicorn is really beautiful! I especially love the long horn and the color change on the scruff and tail. Perfect! :D
