it's from "origami from rectangle" (chohokei de oru) by kasahara
(don't know but maybe it's kinda new)
his versions are much more elegant than mine, yet i couldn't resist to elaborate...

unfortunately a damn lot gets lost in the japanese text, and, since the subject is particular, that's a pity.
i'll see if i can fold some other models from there, but i'm not sure if that goes according to my folding plans : )

You are indeed right Ondrej, the Cats are Kawasaki's design. They seem more like Kasahara's style, but excellent nevertheless.

Origami Programmable Operating Computer

This model is NOT finished yet - I need to add another binary distributor on the top and a ramp for feeding the balls to the mechanism !

You are just crazy. Your previous things (bush car etc.) were just play(game or how to say), but this is real serious work! Amazing!

Could you please write some statistic? I think, it will be very interesting. For example number of sheets, time etc. Thanks for your effort, its great, really great.

Absolutely great model, I like it so much (and also my son, it is his favorite), I like especially stylization of the model, this model uses the same base as baby elephant of Joseph Wu.

Nice model - we all need a little bit of geometry, evry now and then I dust off a david mitchell book and fold some variation on a rhomboid cuboctohedron or similar

Ondrej, my favourite of the simiple Gilgado Gomez dinosaurs is the cute little stegosaurus, despite the back being so completely open you have to 'shape' it together. I also like the triceratops.
On my velociraptor the legs would splay too much and not stand up without artifical support, which was dissapointing.
