Tomoko Fuse - Open Cubes folded from 8 different sizes of kami beginning with 2,5cm up to 20cm. Each cube is made from 12 sheets. The largest one is really huge while the smallest one is tiny. The smallest cube is as small as half of the width of one module of the largest cube.

Image

Daniela Carboni - Dragon folded from 15cm kami.

Image

Jeanine Mosely - Orb folded from 6 pieces of 4x7cm cardstock. The folding method for this ball is...lets say...very unusual.

Image

Clemente Giusto - Box folded after a video by Michael Sanders from 21x26,25cm cardstock. Yami Yamauchi folds this boxes with prescored papers and uses some blocks to fold around. To tell the truth I don't know what he needs the blocks for because as soon as you have all the creases the model nearly folds itself but I see that it can be useful to have all the folds prescored when you want to fold large amounts of a model. With his templates, he only needs some seconds to fold one of these boxes.

Origami_8:
That Orb is very nice. :)
Where are the diagrams/instructions on how to make it?

Origami-Artist-Galen:
That is by far one of the best Bahamuts I have ever seen!
Very Nicely folded.

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

Thank you all, the diagrams for the Orb can be found here: http://www.origami-resource-center.com/ ... d-orb.html

I made myself a template from cardstock and scored the individual parts with a knitting needle.

Origami Tesseract

Post by firstfold »

I just completed a simulation of a Tesseract. This is a fully operational model and not a projection !

I have speeded up the rotation with stop motion but have included a short real time version so you can see how the model is manipulated.

Wow great folding Anna!

Bone Study
Designed and folded by me from one uncut square sheet of paper.

I'm interested in discovering designs that are stripped down to their bare essential creases or 'bones' lately. More to come.

Good work Anna! :)
By the way the correct name of Clemente is Giusto.
He was, and is my origami sensei from when I was 8.
This box is one of his older model. I should have also his disagram somewhere in my bookshelves

Artur, this model never get's old

Backing to Clemente boxes, I was sure I had his diagrams :)

Here the box made also by Anna (rectangle ratio 4:5)
http://www.origamigianluca.com/Varie/Sc ... golare.jpg

and here his best known model "la bomboniera" that means wedding box.
http://www.origamigianluca.com/Varie/Bomboniera.jpg

Just a little note aside.
those two digrams are copies of one of his notepads that are more than 30 years old, when even the idea of CP was out of any mind. :o

OrigamiGianluca, that's very equal to what I reconstructed from the video: http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/9176/p1170001fj7.jpg

It is possible to fold the model without any unnecessary creases only making a pinch, marking the mid point on one small side.
