Thanks for the kind words spiritofcat. And nice job on the Kawasaki Rose - I seem to recall it took me several attempts to come up with anything looking that nice :)

And thank you too InsomniacFolder. The paper is called "Parchment Mottled Gold" and its about 90gsm. Its nice because it comes in a large size (25"x38") is fairly tough, and has a pretty good amount of sizing already. Plus, its not too expensive - $1.30 per sheet, if I recall correctly. And I like the color and slight texture it has too.

Great work, Victoria! It is different of others because you have the same figure but absolutely different wings - clear and nice. It is much better - your model is highly aesthetic.

Bluebird Chick designed by Bernard Peyton from the PAPER issue 93 (The Magazine of OrigamiUSA) - 25*25cm double Tissue foil.

The size of finished model is about (cm): 9 in height, 8 in width and 10 in length.
