Victoria: You must have an excellent and detailed Insects reference book for your latest designs, some very complicated and unusual species - I particularly like the head and eyes on this one.

I have such book. I find interesting insect in it and then I search the photos of this insect through the Google.

The green dragon is Fernando Gilgado's dragon ultimo found in the 14th Tanteidan convention book. Here's a better picture of the wings:
