:O! That's beautiful!
Could you link me to her homepage?
I'm not too strong on origamists...
I would love to give it a go, even if it's hard

Wow! Great job on that one, Anermak. The details that you fit in are just fantastic.
My Flickr
Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

I just folded Robert Lang's "A Miura-ken Beauty Rose". I admit it's still a very mediocre fold, but proud I am to at least have succeeded in making a mediocre fold.
I still need to figure out how to do the final shaping, but I think I now understand how to fold the base. And I definitely need to work with different paper the next time round. See how all the tips are slightly ripped and exposing white paper?
Although I'm grumbling, I am immensely proud. And IF I ever master the rose, perhaps I can make a video on it?
Edit: Here's a picture I took of one Robert Lang folded:

Sara, that is way better than any of my attempts. I would love to see a video on this rose.
Have you seen the white one folded by Lang in some of the convention photos? I don't know how he can manipulate the base into that.

I recently had an origami marathon
it started on thursday. these are my first "advanced" models.
Satoshi kamiya´s lion and hercules beetle, R. Lang´s tree frog and Brian Chan´s maple leaf.
By the way is the lion supposed to look this way when looked up front?
please tell me what I can do to make it look better.
