I've always thought of doing something like that dragon cross, but you beat me to it, and very elegantly too :D ! That giza pyramid is just ...mindblowing. Great work!

Very Nice.

The Dragon is very original. It looks like one of the high level Personas from the game Persona 4. I like the opalescence in the paper - what sort of paper is it?

The Giza Scene is probably very complicated to produce, but looks deceptively like a reasonably logical extension of box pleating/tesselation techniques

I remember your excellent Easter Island Moai, and now a remake of your Giza Plateau - Any other Famous Monuments Planned? Stonehenge, Colosseum, Tower of Pisa, Kremlin etc - Hope so!

Thanks for the cp for the fly!
It was indeed easy but a bit tricky, for the horizontal lines were inversed, so which vertically was mountain, horizontally it was valley fold. My paper turned out to be thick for this model, though im happy with the result. I couldnt figure out the eyes like you did, but the second attempt i will choose larger sheet and round them.
What kind of paper did you use?
Here is my first attempt:

That's a very impressive mantis shrimp!

Better than Brian Chan's version IMO.
The name's Joe.

Don't think it is, to be honest. Chan's is much more elegant and realistic. Not saying Ermakov's is bad.

This is a very good design. We all know how difficult it is to design a mantis shrimp.

However, the body is too thick, as are all the appendages.
