I have successfully designed a Flippy Faced cube with the capability to flip the color of all 6 faces. You can see this model flip here:

Here is a CP for this model:

Image

The grey triangles a just guides to show how each face of the cube is assembled. You do NOT color these triangles on the model you fold. The color change occurs when you flip the flap on each face and the reverse side of the paper is revealed.

This is a difficult model to fold just using the CP. If there is enough interest, I will make an instructional video when I have more time.

Here is your challenge - design a flippy faced polyhedron with MORE than 6 flippy faces.

firstfold, looks like you made the impossible possible! Your design is really interesting- thanks for the CP. Good Job!
EZOrigami, the Acrominus Longaminus is pretty well folded- the folds are crisp and you made the legs thin without having the layers pop out- well done!

The door ring is nice, though the foil ruins it.
However, Your pigs by Trollip are awesome, best one so far except for the original one by Quentin Sensei.

Nice Scarab, Werd. What kind of paper?

R. Lang's Lizard. I like folding this one, definitely going to refold with better paper, just working my way through 'design secrets' first.

Yeah, I agree, that Scarab has a good 3d effct- and I think the pape is Kraft paper. However, xxwerdxx, I would really reccomend that you resize those photos, in case the moderators delete them.
Army Tim, the lizard is great! I reccomend some Origamido paper, though that is out of my grasp.
ptrckngn, the bird is nice, though the wyvern looks kinda messy and the foil paper makes photo taking hard. Still, both designs have nice color changes.
Cephalopod, the Robin is great, though it is tad obese. The color changes are great though.
ismetdai, the pheonix is great, though the photo is too blurry for me to make out the details.

Thanks guys. All I have right now is tissue foil, which I think will work for this particular model and a big roll of brown paper for wrapping packages. There is a crafts store near by that I want to go check out to see what they have, because I want to try wet-folding soon.

Thanks, your right about the paper.

I don't know how to resize the photos though and there's no edit button right now that I see.

'Photobucket' can resize images. Just click edit near the picture in your album, then it should take you to the edit area, click 'resize' make the biggest dimension around 500 and click 'replace original'
