Interesting one there.
I saw it and commented on Flickr, but you didn't have a reference pic there like you do here.
Having seen the reference now, I'd say the arms might be better if you could thin them a bit. Maybe form the hand through point splitting rather than using extra pleats for each claw.
The legs seem to work well the way you've done them though.
Keep working on it. I look forward to future versions.

I didn't know that a whole deinochirus skeleton had been found yet..., but your model is good for a first boxpleated design. I would suggest pinching the arms and legs, and puffing out the body to give it a nice rounded look. Dont forget, with boxpleating, an immense amount of shaping is required!

i have been looking at some of your design and i think that i have found your problem. it seems that you force alot. its okay that your first versions of your models are sloppy but after your done designing a model try folding it again and if some points dont match up, change soem of your reference points, dont force it. and before you start trying to design your own models, fold some other models. satoshi kamiya or robert lang models would be especially good for you because when you fold their models, you can see how they divided the paper to make their points match. i can see in your bird base dragon that you forced the shape of the legs. if it doesnt go naturally, dont force it.
