great design razzmatazz. i think it's fine as is, but if you want to improve it, making the head disproportionately larger would help. also, trying to add slitted eyes (probably their defining facial feature) would greatly enhance the design.
also, i don't see a moogle. i see a bat winged fairy with a poofy antennae on its head.
Heh. You should see all the terrible rough drafts I have. All of them have larger heads than this (along with larger noses) and the bodies are terrible.
I would try adding eyes to this version but using paper for that would reduce the wing size. Perhaps I'll just design a whole new sequence for it.
Haha, thank you, Anna. It's character from a video game called "Final Fantasy" which vaguely resembles a cat with a pompom and batwings that stands on its hind legs.
Though the design varies from game to game, and so I think many might think of the Final Fantasy XII version which looks more like a rabbit than a cat. Mine was centered on the design from the ninth final fantasy:
"An update on my diagrams. I have completed the first page of diagrams. I am predicting it to be around 50-60 steps. Perhaps less if I end up doing a sloppy job on the rest.
So far I am at 15 steps. I have yet to determine whether I will submit the diagrams to somewhere or not. Hence the name."
"My second try at this (www.origamee.net/diagrams/cootie.html) model for 12 units resulted in a literal half correct model. These are each from 6 fortune tellers/cootie catchers.
I have not yet seen this model done with this many units, but it's not as pleasant as the others and ends up being sort of flat-ish with the spikes.
If anyone has any info on any other renditions with 6 units please tell me because I want to see."
