For laughs and at the suggestion of my husband, I folded the pyramid head character from the silent hill videogames and movie (more like the movie version) from 21cm tissue foil.

Image

The foil on the helmet is more wrinkled than I hoped for, but it got the general shape at least.

Hahah! That's interesting to have both the male and female designs for the same species. I don't know much of the origami bug world, so maybe there are lots of designs like that, but it's nice to see the differences represented instead of just one or the other.

Ha! I betcha that's me on Google. :)
As to posting images, you first have to upload your picture to the web (eg. on http://imageshack.us/). Be sure to resize the picture to an appropriate size (e.g. 400px x 300px). Then post a reply here, using the opening and closing image tags. There's a button called "Img", or type in '[img]'%20then%20the%20url%20and%20then%20'[/img]' (whithout the quotes).

Voila, the picture should show in your post. You can preview it to check that it's correct before submitting the post.

Lots of stuff:

Image

Lang's deer from The Complete Book of Origami, still my favorite deer, despite of it's age. :P
Folded from a 23cm by 11.5cm rectangle of tracing paper.

Image

Comparing copy paper with tracing paper: same size, note the difference.

Image

The tiniest Neale Dragon in existence: as big as a penny!
Folded from a 4cm by 4cm square of kami. (a penny is about 2cm, for non-American people)

Image

ATTACK OF THE KITTY
