Nicolas Terry sells four books by Shuzo Fujimoto in his shop: http://www.origami-shop.com
I have neither of them so I can't tell you if they are worth having.
You can learn how to fold the Hydrangea in Sara Adams video:
http://www.happyfolding.com/instruction ... -hydrangea
To make the tiled one you can use Peter Budai's diagrams for high density tiling to get to the base:

My test fold of the Leafy Sea Dragon, by Satoshi Kamiya

Folded from 50cm of kraft. This guy took a little more time than usual, but he wasn't too terribly hard.

I've got "Invitation to Creative Playing with Origami". If you're looking for diagrams for hydrangea / clover folding / crowding butterflies etc. it's NOT the right book. I think those might be included in the "Twist Folding 1, 2, 3" books, but am not sure.origami_8 wrote:Nicolas Terry sells four books by Shuzo Fujimoto in his shop: http://www.origami-shop.com

On a different note, Stephan Weber and me met up yesterday. He showed me how to fold a bull, and this is the result:

so you spend a night with Stefan, that's nice, I hope you had a lot of fun
did you know that his famous bull is a "slight" modification of an really easy montroll bull? I think its the one thats in favorite animals in origami. like stefans great horse is a modification of montrolls horse out of "origami sculptures". oh noooooo ... he's breaking copyright laws, he stole without giving credit... we should break his legs and throw him into a river

Yes, he mentioned it. He also said that basically all his work is based on other people's designs, and he just changes some proportions and shaping here and there, and maybe adds or removes a crease right about here. The question is how much do you have to change to have an original piece of art?TheRealChris wrote: did you know that his famous bull is a "slight" modification of an really easy montroll bull?
Also, if there's one thing John Montroll isn't famous for, it's the final shaping. And I think it does make a huge difference. In that I think it's ok to say it's Stephan's design. [Again, for emphasis, Stephan told me it's basically John Montroll's bull, he didn't claim it was his design.]

Fiery Dragon, by Kade Chan -- a quick snapshot.
A Fiery Dragon is attacking some quinces. (Or are the quinces attacking the Fiery Dragon?)

From black/red double tissue, probably 40x40cm (not sure anymore). While MC'ing the double tissue, used some drops of black and golden acrylic paint, to alter the boring-plain-red side.

That's a great hint, I will give it a go. Thanks for sharing.Didée wrote:From black/red double tissue, probably 40x40cm (not sure anymore). While MC'ing the double tissue, used some drops of black and golden acrylic paint, to alter the boring-plain-red side.
