i've tried my kingfisher with a simple selfmade sandwich paper - neither the best fold nor a good picture but i do like the color changes.

i recently designed a dragon, its not too hard but it has quite a pleasing result. its one of my favourites. :D

i cannt post pictures because i havent got a mobile and normally i do everything to get the picture here with my mobile and okay i would like to if i had the book and i was not in the middel of a test week

but i ordered the book by origamishop .com great site.
origami is for perfectionists.

Black Hornbill
Designed for Sonny at the Malaysian Nature Society MNS (http://www.mns.my) from an uncut square. This is a test fold only.
The idea is to make it as simple as possible, but the colour-changes do add some difficulty. The beak is the obvious prominent feature, but also the white stripe on tip of the tail. It stands no problem.
I hope it "fits the bill"...
