It's questionable assumption... Besides I have enough experience that would make such a model wich I want to see in the final result ... I see a squirrel, as the author, if you have a different opinion - make your own "correct" models!!!..

Wow, never spceted that kind of answer from you.

Im not a zoologits but at lees in this planet the squirrels look like this:

Maybe reducing the size of the ears would fix the dogie look.

Guys, I know itc criticism, but let the guy go, GOOD, you gave him a way to improve, but hes made an original model, thats more than either of you can say.

I do not want to explain about artistic exaggeration. Let's start with the fact that in nature you don't find paper squirrel, or example squirrel form like "crazy squirrel" in the cartoon "Ice Age" ... The author has the right to give selected form of model what they see fit depending on the chosen image.
And at the expense form ears - squirrel may be different and length of brushes of ears also

I see a squirrel too, I was just stating my opinion...
I like the model, especially the paper choice. Good job, my bad for stating that even when I can't design. :(

I'm sorry Washi that I attacked you... :? Just try to understand me, before criticizing - better to ask about the reasons why I changed this or that element ... Because If I wanted, I would easily make other forms...
