I folded Robert J. Lang's Praying Mantis. I added mandibles and lengthened the neck.

Mammuthus primigenius by Satoshi Kamiya from 22cm x 22cm Japanese foil

Image

I love mammuths and I think it's a pity that they are extinct... (anyone who played the Computer game Syberia will understand that ;-)) So one of my long-time Origami goals is to fold all available mammuth designs and maybe (in a very distant future) design my own mammuth.
Anyone knows of any other mammuth designs except this one by Satoshi Kamiya and the one by Noboru Miyajima?
So long and keep folding ^_^

I know what you mean about this model, when I fold it "straight" they come out similar- but as soon as I start moulding and crimping and sinking and other really techie origami stuff- no two are the same.
I think over the years I must have become near obssesive over this one model.

Here is the link to the diagrams if anyone still wants them.

Charles Esseltine´s Dragon from 7.5 cm paper. I will try it smaller after i have had a bit more practice. :D

If you can't fold it, try a bazooka.
