Joshua, quite frankly, it looks VERY bad when you photograph standing animals laying down like that. It makes them look dead.
If you really want to have them laying down, look at pictures of the animal sitting, resting, sleeping, etc. to know how they do it. They don't just fall over to the side.
If you don't want them laying down, make an effort to have the stand up! Refold parts of the model the model, prop it up with toothpicks/clothespins/paperclips, make a sloped surface so it doesn't fall over, but don't succumb to killing the model.

i just done a quick sketch of a dutch rabbit.
this will be improved much further in the short future...

i really wish that i had diagrammed that tanuki and fox

newbpcpfolder: thanks very very very much!! im currently in the making of a book and i let some people test fold the crab, so if you want diagrams of mine, there will be around 30-40 of my best designs in that book
