Green Dragon - Modification of the Neale dragon with a border graft.
This was commissioned by a coworker. She paid me in muffins and pizza dough.

I folded Netto's Dama. I used tissue foil because I didn't really have anything else large enough, tough enough and thin enough for this fold. But man I am bad with tissue foil, those wings are hopelessly wrinkled. I'm sharing this anyway because I made the wings look angelic instead of batlike, even if wrinkled.

My tant arrived today so I won't be worrying about tissue foil anytime soon. :D

Good job!
I just bought paper earlier this week expressly for making a Dama! I'll post it when it's up.

Thanks! Oh what paper did you get? I'll have to pay attention, because that is what I really want is large, thin sturdy paper (instead of foil) that I can fold obscenely box-pleated models like Dama out of.

It's blue Unryu, I won't be foil-backing it but I may wet-fold it. My starting square will be maybe 22 inches, so relatively it should be thin enough. It's not the thinnest but I like the texture. I hope it goes well.

Oh does unryu hold a crease? Or are you going to backcoat it?

I can make a lot of fishies behind each other. (by using a long rectangle in stead of a square). As far as I know I cannot make them go above each other. Pretty sure about it too, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is possible.

It'd be so cool if that fish could be tessellated like one of those M.C. Escher's paintings
