I'm really bored.... So I'm now designing a microraptor! And i'm designing it from a crease pattern, which i don't normally do!
Here's the general idea from a tiny sketch.

Very rough, and it's just the general idea to get all the flaps in place. I'm gonna test fold it now and see how it turns out. I'll base it on a big grid... Mabey 64x64 or 72x72, because i need as many pleats as possible to spread on the wings, and more flaps to get the toes on all four wings. The head will be full of flaps too, because i'd want to have feathers on it aswell. If the paper can handle it, i might go for a 100x100 grid, but i stongly doubt it.

Thanks, it's very rough. Loads of squares and reverse folds should make head points for the head feathers.

Yeh, just sightly.
I don't rccommend you trying to fold it from the cp though, because the flap arrangements at the end is chaos. ](*,)
I only made te CP to show the way it was made.
The starting size was 65cm to a side.

Cool! You've already drawn a cp out on your flickr, now all you need to do is fold it! :)
