My new design is a variation of my quick and dirty pumpkin box that you had to draw eyes and teeth on. This time I use bicolor paper to make the eyes and teeth. Here is the photo and video tutorial:

If you fold this pumpkin, please send me a picture. Thank you!

this is my latest design. There were some things I wanted to improve on my old stag beetle, so I redesigned it. Now it is based on a 44x44 grid.I folded this model from handmade paper by John Gerard
( 38x38 cm )

A very creative model! Is it a variation of Origami Halloween Pumpkin Box?

Awesome use of color changes!

Guys, I'm worried about the monthly design challenge. The October challenge will be over in a week and there's just a single submission! You create original models... can you help out with your own submission before the month is over?

Kangaroo
Designed and folded by me.
One uncut square of double lokta 48x48 cm
After meeting Shuki Kato in Lyon, I was inspired by his great designs. I already designed a kangaroo a while ago during a long train ride, but the old kangaroo was only a quick and bad design, so I redid it, trying to use 22.5 degree in a better way and creating large areas without creases. On the top right, you can see the model from below.I tried my best to close it as much as possible.I can´t wait to design more models with 22.5 degree.

ORIGAMI - JESUS ! ( Crucifixion)

Designed and Folded by me from a single uncut square of 50 cm tracing paper.
Finished Size : 25 cm
48 Grids Box-Pleating
About the model : I have tried my best to fold the crucifixion...the cross, the nails, the node, INRI ! All from 48 grids only. Anything more, is out of my league. Personally, the most difficult part to fold were the legs - they're actually from a single flap ! XD But every time I try to shape the knees... I go weak in my knees !! It's the hardest part.
Also, as this model is folded by a sinner's hands...there'll be flaws. I apologize humbly if this rendition of mine offends/hurts/disappoints anyone _/\_, The reason it took so much time to post this was that I was trying to perfect it...but this is my skill level currently
Still I really hope you guys like it !! Thank you for your support and encouragement !
Hope this lives up to your expectations. :)

Polar Bear + Atlantic puffins :

Image
Polar Bear + Puffins by TERRY Nicolas, sur Flickr

- Polar Bear : White Washi Deluxe
- Atlantic Puffin : Kami with tiny squares added for the orange color change (the multilayer version (see below) isn't suitable for this diorama because the models are too small).

Multilayer Atlantic Puffin :

To bring color change with 3 colors, I used the multilayer concept that I developped some years ago : You superimpose 2 squares and you fold them like a single square. The challenge is to show the right color at the right place managing the layers. You can download the diagram of my multilayer bird here to understand better here tinyurl.com/zng9pln

For this puffin, I used :
- an orange/white square (White tissue-foil 30x30 cm glue on orange tissue paper
superimpose on:
- a black tissue-foil 30x30 cm
The multiple layers bring some details more like the several tips for the tail. However, the folding sequence become too complex to separate the tiny wings from the body (The wings are free for the non multilayer model)

Have an happy Christmas
