No-fold stegosaurus

It’s been more than 20 years since Joseph Wu designed his one-fold stegosaurus. Now, with the recent advancements in minimalistic origami and computer-aided origami design, I give you the next step: the no-fold stegosaurus which can be (not)folded in exactly zero steps.

While the simplistic design doesn’t allow for much detail, you can clearly see two back plates, the massive tail and the head of this grazing beast. What started with Paul Jackson's single-crease origami, now finds its fulfillment with my no-crease origami.

I have also designed a number of other models using this technique (from squares and rectangles), including topics as diverse as: a tablet computer, a snake, and a detailed map of the U.S. state of Colorado.
I made Wyoming using this technique and I'm pretty proud of it. Should I make diagrams or cp out of it? Might take too long though...

There's a really cool challenge going on in challenge section and I encourage anyone reading this to enter. http://snkhan.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=14089

It's the tenth anniversary of the monthly design challenge and Doc Santee has basically set the topic as anything goes. You can pick any of the previous challenge topics and design accordingly.

The monthly challenge has been an ongoing source of inspiration for me since 2008, when I first went public with my origami designs, and I would love to see as much participation as possible this month.

This is my first (and hopefully not last) entry this month, a bust of Batman from "The Dark Knight Returns".

I also recently designed a new bat model...

...to improve upon my old, pretty clunky bat model.

And here's my recent model of Bevo, the mascot of the University of Texas.

My new model is a kind of finger fidget spinner that you can spin around your finger. What do you think of it?

There's a printable template if you want one with your choice of colors.

Guys, present your June designs in the challenge Juston was talking about. There's a "For the wall topic" perfect for tessellations and also an "action origami" topic perfect for spinners, among other topics.
