I'm origami enthusiast that run website as well, I reviewed several origami tutorials like these easy origami flowers and this awesome red origami dragon. I hope that I will learn a lot about origami on this forum and develop my skills :)

Looking on the interwebs for a "Scotch Thistle", I decided I would have a go at designing one for myself.

Insipired by the ribbed sculptures of Paul Jackson, I came up with this design:

My new model is a cute little fox. :-)
It's quite easy to fold. Tutorial on YouTube. I hope you will like it!

The bow is cute and you got just the right elements in the right place =)
I think the design deserves some more shaping, though, to give it a less rigid and straight look.
