Joseph Fleming's Designs
Hey everyone! I'm new to this forum and I wanted to share some of my original designs.
My displayed models at home:
A Crab model:
An Owl Mask (wearable, if you get the right size paper):
Setting Sail:
A Clam design:
A Brittle Star:
A New Traditional Goldfish:
A Quaver:
A Seahorse:
A Shrimp:
A Key:
And for the holiday season, some Holly:
Diagrams are available for the holly, the key, the shrimp, the quaver, the clam, and setting sail.
Any questions regarding my models can be sent to flemingfolds@yahoo.com
I'd love to hear some feedback from everyone!

Wow! You are an amazing designer. The shrimp looks like you used cuts to make the antennae, did you?
I have no problem if you did, I'm just wondering.

The shrimp is made with a half square triangle, but the actual fold itself doesn't use cuts.

You're folding and designing skills seem very good to me, well done. The only thing I'd say is put a plain background that contrasts with the model (a curved piece of paper works well) behind the model when you take pictures. Wooden backgrounds can alter the focus of the camera. Other than that, keep up the awesome work!

If you refer to the model I think you refer to, it's not an apple it's a clam, but I liked it even beter at first sight when I thought it was a half bitten apple.marckrsh wrote:I especially like your apple - very original and effective. - Marc

I had a piece of paper for photographing purposes, but folded it into a crab for someone. Plus I wanted to show them off as they're displayed on my headboard.
I thought he was referring to another artist's work with the apple logo. Looking at the picture I can see the possible confusion.Brimstone wrote:If you refer to the model I think you refer to, it's not an apple it's a clam, but I liked it even beter at first sight when I thought it was a half bitten apple.marckrsh wrote:I especially like your apple - very original and effective. - Marc

Re: Joseph Fleming's Designs
You should really think of modifying your model to make it into a bitten apple, it would be very original.Nepafarius wrote:I thought he was referring to another artist's work with the apple logo. Looking at the picture I can see the possible confusion.

Re: Joseph Fleming's Designs
I don't plan on adapting the model, but I had an idea for an apple core design after you mentioned it. Thank you! I've been looking for a new idea to fold.Brimstone wrote:You should really think of modifying your model to make it into a bitten apple, it would be very original.Nepafarius wrote:I thought he was referring to another artist's work with the apple logo.
