.
Experimenting with Froebel folds.
Combining another Froebel fold experiment with a petal box.

Yeah, they're something experimental. To be truthful, I did try to represent something with the one in the second picture.
PS: The collective blog was made in a platform that's now abandoned. For it to work again, I would have to pretty much rebuild it in a contemporary platform. The problem is that I currently don't have the time nor the motivation to do it.

Attempting an X and an O, each from a windmill base.

They are windmill bases with
Heart Plate on the corners.
Heart Plate is by H Vass Ildikó Vass. I only made the fold on the left. Naty Nefesh made the one on the right.

Thanks Tankoda! I also like it. Although I prefer the O when it comes to how well locked they both ended up
.

My fold of
Quilt Star designed by
Leyla Torres.
I tried to be a bit experimental about it. I succeded, but it didn't come up as beautiful as the rest of folds I've seen of this model. Check for yourself:
https://www.origamispirit.com/2016/11/q ... -ornament/
EDIT: I removed one of the connectors. It became this after all the folding and curling as part of the star.

One more Froebel fold experiment, this time between my fold of
Leyla Torres's framing connectors (I'm not clear if that's just a descriptive name or if that is its especific name).

The heart garland is lovely. I like how tightly it looks like it holds together and the simplicity. The star is also beautiful.
