Great Job! It seems that you never produce bad original models.

My bat CP is now up in my flickr gallery... and um, right here as well.

Image

Coming up soon I've got a polar bear from a dollar bill. It may just become a bear bear since the printing on the dollar is trying to eradicate all polarness from the model (or I may fold an additional one out of white paper so you can get the intended effect). It's just about done. All I need to do is fold a nice, clean version (or two) of it and photograph it.

Coming up not so soon I've got a giraffe that I've designed a pretty awesome head for... but not you know, the rest of the giraffe. Kids, don't design like I do. It's frustrating and time consuming.

Huzzah! The polar bear is done!

Image

The five dollar bill turned out not only to be the least distracting pattern for a polar bear but pretty attractive as well.

First off, I present to you six dollar's worth of Pierson's Puppeteers!

Image

I know what you're saying, "Juston, just what in the heck is a Pierson's Puppeteer, anyhow?" Well, they're a fictional alien race from Larry Niven's Known Space books. This particular piece of art (below) was influential when I was designing the model, though I took inspiration from many other depictions as well.

Image

And big news! My first ever full diagrams will be published soon. The Headless Horseman diagram will be published in this October's issue of Creased Magazine. And a super-secret diagram will be published as an online bonus model (see if you can figure out what it is).

And coming up in the December issue is my $ Polar Bear... which, appropriately enough, was a bear to diagram.

PS: As always, check out my flickr page for more of my work and to stay up to the minute (or month, as is more often the case) with what I'm doing.

Happy Halloween!

Here's the final(?) revision of my Jack-o-lantern.

And for those of you who haven't seen it yet, here's the Pegasus I created for this month's challenge (traditional bases).

Thanks Orimin! This month's challenge has produced some pretty great models so far (more to come, no doubt). Check it out if you haven't already.

Juston, given your amazing talent to express such wide variety of ideas through folds that never seem to be too complex, I think you might like the current monthly design challenge. Please take a look: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=14984
