Re: What have you folded lately?
Thanks! The butterfly is a bit crumpled but not to bad... I crumbled the branch on purpose to give it texture. The model looks better in real life

@Langko
I like that model! Maybe you can make a slight curve in the cocoon. It looks little unnatural. Before I read your explanation, I thought the cocoon is a branch and started to say that he is a bit thick But maybe the work looks better in real life, as you say. Great model

Thanks very much for your comment and advice. I am already working on a version 2 that will hopefully improve the cocoonquiet marverick wrote:@Langko

Hermit Crab
Designed by Satoshi Kamiya. Folded by me from a 45cm square of tissue foil. I've been wanting to fold this model for ages and I am pleased with the way this turned out. This model has some of the worst open sinks i've folded... Hope you like

Nice! Did you fold it from diagrams or CP? (Diagrams in "Works of Satoshi Kamiya 2")

Re: What have you folded lately?
Hi I am not an origami master like you guys but I just wanted to post to say thank you to Paulius Mielinis for inspiring me with his Mona Lisa. I decided to try something similar and folded this map of the Americas.

Stilleto by Daniel Brown
A birthday gift for my sister. All I need now is a box with the label ORIGUCCI
I decided to go with classic red. A coat of acrylic spray to add the bling.
