ORIGAMI - JESUS ! ( Crucifixion)

Designed and Folded by me from a single uncut square of 50 cm tracing paper.
Finished Size : 25 cm
48 Grids Box-Pleating
About the model : I have tried my best to fold the crucifixion...the cross, the nails, the node, INRI ! All from 48 grids only. Anything more, is out of my league. Personally, the most difficult part to fold were the legs - they're actually from a single flap ! XD But every time I try to shape the knees... I go weak in my knees !! It's the hardest part.
Also, as this model is folded by a sinner's hands...there'll be flaws. I apologize humbly if this rendition of mine offends/hurts/disappoints anyone _/\_, The reason it took so much time to post this was that I was trying to perfect it...but this is my skill level currently
Still I really hope you guys like it !! Thank you for your support and encouragement !
Hope this lives up to your expectations. :)

Great present Neelesh K!

Awesome folds guys :D. I particularly liked both pictures of greencube07's folds of Hyun Seok Kang's models. Cool shapes, perfect color choices, and very well taken pictures :).

Here's mine:

Image

A variation of Christmas Tree by Makoto Yamaguchi and by Rae Cooker. I added an extra fold inside each unit in order to lift each one a bit; folding them with duocolor paper gives the tree a little extra something. I also folded the top angle of the preliminary base, for the tree trunk, by sixths instead of fourths in order to make it thinner than the original.

By the way, I figured out some proportions for the initial squares used for the units, which I really liked, in order to give the tree that specific shape:

Unit 1: 3/8 x 3/8
Unit 2: 5/ 8 x 5/8
Unit 3: 7/8 x 7/8
Unit 4: 8/8 x 8/8
Tree trunk: 15/16 x 15/16 (dividing the angle by sixths instead of fourths)

In the picture you'll also find a tree topper which is itself a variation of the unit for Christmas Tree (proportions of the initial square: 3/8 x 3/8) and many folds of the water bomb. I folded it all as a gift :).

So what do you think?

Wonderful Santa Claus by Naoki Takeda. Fell in love with the design from the moment I saw it.

Hahaha! You should really add some info to your posts just to know who created the models you fold. That way I won't make a fool out of myself next time and people like Weber will receive their well-deserved credit ;).

Sorry 'bout the misunderstanding, but the app that I use for uploading doesn't support the length(limit) so I didn't really had choice on writing :(
Since there's limit on the writing -I thought telling the designer to the people who ask about afterwards would be enough ; those who really wanna know would probably ask on comments so..but yeah, nobody cares about my fold anyway #-o

Sorry you feel that way greencube07 :(. Now, as you can see, I was interested in your folds.
