I folded Seth Friedman's deer from a video tutorial on his channel. It's a great model, I highly recommend it :)

After a few weeks of impatience, I can finally disclose my Secret Santa folds, as the package made a few unnecessary trips and was opened this week only : the context might be outdated, but the bells are still well theme-related

EDIT : Thanks for the correction, Ginshun, I first thought you & Cyberglass were one same person, my bad ^^
You're right kami seems to work well on that design !

Just for clarity - I am not Cyberglass - that is who designed the CP, but I agree, they did some wonderful folds of if. Once I get some of the right color paper, I think I will do some more, as my kids are big fans of the show. I really hate kami in general, but it worked well for a test fold, and the colors where right for Rarity. Its a fun fold with a weird twist in the collapse.

My folds aren't photographed that well this time around, but since I don't really have time to fold too often, I wanted to post these two anyway. Better photographs weren't a possibility, since a member of the party and guest lectures association at my part of uni took my models and placed them in their storage

These were folded in a rare breath of spare time. I love the math, magic, sculpturing, dexterity and elegance of this craft, and at times art-form.

Awesome Ryujin Damian! Super clean folding - one of the best that I have ever seen.

This was an extremely satisfying model to fold, for me at least. There were a few steps where I was just like "huh?" then had to think about it a bit and then after it was complete I just thought about now neat of a step it was. Great model.

Nicolas Terry proposed a challenge by offering some photo diagrams for a new cat model of his. He wants us to alter the model in a way to express our own creativity.

I went for a more slender gracile look and came up with the following model.

I recently found out about the "free diagrams" section on Origami Shop, and especially Adilio Toledo's awesome diagrams of Jairo Araujo's awesome design.

Here is my rendition, which is almost too thick to shape the round exteriors properly. And it ended in something roughly the size of yellow coins, so I went for the obvious analogy ^.^

Oh, and thanks for the pointers, Anna, I'll definitely have a look at Nicolas' challenge :D

It’s been a while since I posted the last design ; I think I really haven’t been much on Flickr and the forum since the end of 2016, so yeah, it’s my first post on 2017 :))
Great to see you guys again! I know that it’s been a while since the followers in Flickr have gone over 500, and I really appreciate you guys for the support! I would have uploaded a thank-you post earlier but I’ve been really busy making a book of mine and designing, drawing diagrams for that, so sorry and thanks again!!!! :P
Since it’s the year of Red Chicken(丁酉年), I designed and folded a chicken right after the new year started. The model was finished in January and my friend uploaded the pictures elsewhere instead of me(since I was too busy), so I believe some of you guys would have already saw the design.
I don’t really like to use box-pleat technique ‘cause that doesn’t really fit my designs and I can’t really use it well, but since it’s new year, I gave it a try!
I saw a lot of chicken designs but most of them were rooster, so I folded a hen.
Hope you guys like it and see you soon again! :D

So much skill in that case, Damian, that's very impressive !

Let me go for smaller and slightly more figurative, with 3 recent models :

The subject of the March Folding Challenge on the French forum : D.A. Tu's coccinellidae. Double tissue, 7cm. Almost real-size ^.^
ImageCoccinellidae (D.A. Tu) by Helyades

Robin Glynn's canon, far from real size, as I wanted to try another miniature fold and I'm very fond of this design, both easy and realistic. Double tissue, 4cm
ImageCanon (R. Glynn) by Helyades

And Adilio Toledo's very cute Dratini, wich I really enjoyed folding and shaping in the contorted posture of Pokémon #147. Double tissue, 10cm
