A couple of insects, both from double tissue, ~25cm:

(The white spots are as a result of marking a random grid of points for the tessellation; apparently chalk pencil does not rub off of paper easily.)

I've been trying out some models with kraft paper. It's thin and pretty strong, but the real reason I like it is that it wet folds extremely well and easily.
These four models were all folded with kraft paper and wet folded.
Shrimp from a CP on Yagob's flickr
Lizard from a CP on Yagob's flickr
Cerberus from Works of Satoshi Kamiya 2
Roosevelt Elk From ODS 2
You can tell how well they keep their shape: the shrimps' thick body can stay compressed, the roosevelt Elk's horns stay twisted, the lizards thick legs stay bent, and Cerberus' wide body keeps its round form.

Damian, did you create
Dragon this month? If so, I invite you to please contribute to the current monthly design challenge here in the forum. It's the 10th anniversary of the challenge; we're trying to have as many participating models as possible. That's why there are so many themes; there's even a dragon theme.

American Alligator by

Alligator mississippiensis
Paper : 1m x 1m Handmade Paper(dark green - apricot)
Base : Blintzed Frog Base
I was way too busy doing all those stuffs and finally got myself a break time so I am uploading some designs that I have worked on.
Alligator was probably one of my highest origami goals to achieve back in high school, and I finally did it
- though it didn't work out well as I wanted.
This model will be taught as a class in this year 23rd Japan Tanteidan Convention. If you want to fold it, please come by my class and take it! Hope to see you guys all

Dancing Crane by Robert J Lang, although it looks more like a flamingo.
I just got a bottle of MC and this is one of my practice models.
Folded from a 53cm kami.

Since this year is 20th anniversary of Pokemon series, as by me - one of the people who watched the first anime series of Pokemon when age of kid, I look forward to watch the new movie coming out(well, it already came out in Japan though) that takes a look at the same story of the first anime series.
And for celebrating the anniversary, I've been working on some pokemon designs and this is one of them. I firstly designed and folded Yadoran(Slowbro), but it didn't seem appropriate for the lecture, so I down-graded the structure and made it into Yadon(Slowpoke). I will be displaying both the Yadon and Yadoran on the day of convention.

Sculpting a Crane
Created by me. Folded from a thin 30 x 30cm (12 x 12 in) duo colored grainy metallic paper from Origami-Shop.com. Do anyone know its name? The other side has a matte brownish color. I received a pack as a gift so I don't know what is it called.
Also, I'd REALLY appreciate some feedback about the fold and model. Thanks in advance
.

It's probably Nicolas Terry's Copper Tissue-Foil Paper:
