Equilateral black/yellow triangle black side up. Fold corners to the center. Then mountain fold a small amount underneath to get the black hexagon in the middle. It should look just like Quentin's

I've always like the "clever" ideas that people come up with for the challenges (case in point - Marc Kirschebaum's Flintstone Car for one of the "Prehistoric" challenges). Whilst discussing on the IRC channel, I came up with what I thought was a "clever" idea. A triangle from a triangle! :
