Oh that I could...sadly, my work has had to take precedence over origami so much that I haven't been able to devote any real thought or time to attempts! It's been so long that I've invented anything, and there are clearly so many designers out there that far outstrip my mediocre inventing skills (yes, I've tried reading Origami Design Secrets -- it made little to no sense to me, sadly...I will have to give it another go at some future time!) that I don't know that I have much to contribute, though I just posted a couple of things I invented awhile back that haven't been seen before.

Right. A few fishy models to start off. First of all, a Tyrannosaurus. If you take the model diagrammed on fishgoth.com, add a strip graft to form the toes, and re-shape the head, you get a better featured model. Folded from a square of foil, double backed with brown tissue, and then green tissue.

And some more. Using a 22.5 angle divided series of polygons, I've created a 'Hadrosaur' base, which I'll diagram or produce a create pattern for. Here are a couple of dinosaurs derived from this base. First of all, here is a Parasaurolophus. For the most part, the model is closed back. Wet-folded from Tant paper.

Using the same base as above, I've also designed an Iguanodon. For this model, I wanted to concentrate on facial features, and also to include a thumb-spike onto the front legs.

Yes, I nkow the fins were way too short. This model was only designed in about ten minutes, though, so there really isn't too much in it. I made it from a modified fish base.
Keep folding!

I'm really enjoying this thread, the quality of most models is quite good and the topic is on my top favorite subjects

Therizinosaurus

Image

Folded from a 24.25 inch (61.5 cm) square of Thai Two-layer paper. About 12 inches long, measured straight across.

I've been trying to design a Therizinosaurus for a few years now, ever since I first heard of the odd dinosaur. I began work on this particular design in January 2010. After six months, it’s finally complete.

This was a lot of work to fold. My sheet of glass is only 18 inches wide, which meant I could not pre-MC the paper. I had to fold the base dry and then MC-fold afterward.

Therizinosaurus was a strange dinosaur. They were herbivorous therapods, and looked like a cross between a sauropod (like apatosaurus), carnosaur (like tyrannosaurus), and Wolverine from X-Men.

(Much better viewed large)

Very nice Therizinosaurus, origamimasterjared. I like the claws.
It's not so common to heard about this dinosaur. It is a very different type.
