Re: 2 International Origami Internet-Olympiad
Hello,
I sent my collection of folded tasks, but didn't receive acknowledgement. Is this normal? I'm a bit worried. Thanks for reassuring me.

Re: 2 International Origami Internet-Olympiad
I Anermak, i want to thank you for this challenge, as well as the other creators for the diagrams and CP, it was really a pleasure to attend.
I couldn't do everything, no time to the creation (and no tallent ), but it does not matter. I dared to try some that i didn't expect to be able to do.
It was fun, strongly next year!
The french folders (see in pliagedepapier.com) are really motivated talkative also, i think!!

Re: 2 International Origami Internet-Olympiad
Dear Friends!!!!
That moment has come and it's time to sum up the results of the 2-nd International Origami Olympiad devoted to the memory of the Great Master of origami - Eugeny Fridrikh.
Near 200 origamists from 35 countries took part in our Olympiad. Herewith during the competition judges had to evaluate and compare more than 1800 pictures of finished works.
The first place in the Individual championship took members who received the highest total score (voting and setting of points judges made independently).
To the best works in each category each judge can put 1.5 (for the 1st place), 1.0 (for 2nd place), 0.5 (for 3d place), resulting in maximum possible total score for each work is = (4Max +6). In this case, I would like to add that all 13 tasks were made only by 2,5% of all participants.
I recall that one of independent assistant, encrypted all works. So that the judges did not know who and what country of work done ... So even though the work of judging and will not be entirely objective (based on the level of understanding the depth of origami) - but at least it's guarantee what judge decision about score and winners was a maximum honest, independent and not biased!
Command part: gold medal - 3 points, silver - 2 points, bronze - 1 point
In the next years i hope the Olympiad will be more transparent to discuss and identify the winners (especially that judges will be updated from the winners of the previous years from different countries, as Lysiuk Dzmitry - winner of the first, and the one of the judge for second Olympiads).
Best Regards,
