monthly CP challenge- June
the model for this months challenge is the first crease pattern i have ever folded; highland ram by Dr. Stephen 'O' Hanlon- http://www.fishgoth.com/origami/diagrams/cp_ram.pdf
rules: must be from one square sheet of paper (otherwise you wouldn't be following the cp) and mc is allowed for shaping. good luck to everyone!

Re: monthly CP challenge- June
Cool, I'll try my best. I failed the last 2 cp challenges... A picture of the completed model would really help! Be good to see what it's supposed to look like

any clues on the landmarks that form the rectangle horn-horn-rearleg-rearleg?
I fold therefore I am.

Re: monthly CP challenge- June
All I'll say is that a kite base would help with references. Try getting a ruler and continuing lines to see where they go, that's how I find cp references
Re: monthly CP challenge- June
Am I allowed to enter?
PS - Kite fold to find reference point, and then it is essentially a fish base with a large strip graft in the middle, and a Montroll style 'wing' base at one end.

I once set up an origami PLC. But the business folded.

Fishgoth: sure, you can enter. As long as the model is folded this month.
Re: monthly CP challenge- June
You are aware that I'm the original creator of that model?

Re: monthly CP challenge- June
well... winner should be clear, congratulations to jeko for finishing this model!
all in all, you got the essence of the model, the colour changes fit. The neck seems way longer than in the original. Apart from that my only point of criticism is the paper, you used... The colours dont seem to fit the model. Anyway, congratulations for a good fold, and being the winner of this month... Hopefully, you will be able to judge more entries at the end of next month... i will create the new topic later today

tschobigami, thanks a lot for the comments!
Now that I look at it again, the long neck actually makes it look more like a goat than a ram...
